Annual Circuit Hike at Plover Cove Reservoir

This is one hell of a hike, it was rated as 4/5 hike but I believe it is more than that. The trail is unforgiving and unbelievably difficult that once you’re commited there is no turning back. The temperature in the mountains was around 9 degrees and I was walking with not enough food and water.  On the bright side of it, the views are fantastic and the experience was unforgettable.

Scenic Loop Walk in North Point

I went for a hike again yesterday together with friends from HK Hiking Group. Here are some facts and photos from the hike.

Trailhead: North Point MTR Station, Exit B1

Trail ends: Lai Tak Tsuen, Tai Hang (Going on foot or take public transportation to Causeway Bay)

Route: North Point MTR Station > Aroma Walk (Steps) > Braemar Hill > Chinese International School > Bushwhacking > Wireless Station > Siu Ma Shan > Quarry Bay Jogging Trail > Sir Cecil’s Ride > Bushwhacking > Yee King Road (Rear side of Lai Tak Tsuen, Tai Hang)

Hike distance: 6-7 km

Hike hours: 3-4 hrs

Lakers Dangerous Trio

NBA 2009 is just around the corner and I am too excited to see my team do next year. I call them the Dangerous Trio who will lead the team all the way to NBA finals and will eventually win the championship that had eluded them this year. That is my wish as a Lakers fan.

Trio Beach, Hong Kong

Night Hiking

My first time to join the Hong Kong Hiking Meetup Group was a night hike from Sai Wan Ho to Central. Though we got lost and eventually separated from the group we manage to find our way home safely. It was a nice experience joining people who loves the sport.
